The Georgia Tech Institute for Neuroscience, Neurotechnology, and Society (INNS) is seeking proposals for new activities that advance interdisciplinary research, education, translation, engagement, and community-building related to neuroscience, neurotechnology, and society. Funding is available across three tiers:

• Initiatives: Up to $5,000 for early-stage ideas, workshops, team formation, and pilot activities
• Programs: Up to $10,000 for more developed interdisciplinary efforts
• Center Activities: Up to $25,000 for new or expanded activities associated with emerging or established centers

The opportunity is open to the entire INNS community, including faculty, research faculty, staff, postdoctoral scholars, and students. Each proposal must include at least one co-PI or co-lead and demonstrate an interdisciplinary approach.

The LSRF supports young researchers across the full range of modern biology, with 18 broad program areas, such as biophysics, neuroscience, microbiology, cancer biology, computational biology, and ecology.

This program will advance scientific community datasets to enable scientific discovery and innovation using artificial intelligence (AI) and other methods. Its goal is to increase the value that can be derived from existing scientific datasets by leveraging novel methods and artificial intelligence (AI). Proposals should address dataset security and integrity. Governance and the process for scientific communities to contribute to the datasets should also be addressed. Proposals are encouraged to leverage existing resources.

Anticipated Funding Amount: $60,000,000 to $100,000,000

Collaborative Catalyst Research Awards are designed to accelerate progress in pancreatic cancer through collaborative, multi-institutional team science. The award convenes leading investigators across disciplines to tackle the field’s most challenging problems — problems that demand coordinated expertise and are unlikely to be addressed by any single laboratory or investigator alone. The proposed research team must include at least three Principal Investigators (PI) from at least two different institutions. The contact PI must be affiliated with an academic institution in the United States.

Award: $300,000 over two years to the contact PI and collaborating PIs for a total award amount up to $900,000

Funding for scientists who are committed to an academic career in pregnancy research. We ask that you submit an NIH-style biosketch, but we do not require that it is made and certified in SciENcv.

Award: $700,000 over four years

Grants distributed from Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation are designed to fill critical voids in current pediatric cancer research. The Young Investigator grant is a three-year award designed to support early career researchers, such as postdoctoral fellows, clinical fellows or instructors, pursuing promising childhood cancer research ideas. These grants aim to cultivate the best and brightest researchers of the future who demonstrate a commitment to a research career in pediatric cancer. A mentor is required, and a career development plan must be included.

Award: $60,000/yr in direct costs

Duration: 3 years, with optional one no-cost extension.
